Illegal clearing needs attention
Members of the Killcare Wagstaffe Trust, Pretty Beach and Wagstaffe Progress Association and other who value the Bouddi Peninsula Environment are concerned by the continuing illegal destruction of native vegetation on both public and private land.
Poisoned mangroves in Hardys Bay, trees lopped along the Scenic Rd, illegal clearing in Maitland Bay Dr all suggest that Gosford Council's tree preservation policies are ignored.
Council permission for work of this type is mandatory.
This is a problem for our community, which needs urgent attention and consultation with the newly-elected councillors as soon as possible.
