Second beauty shop opens

A second beauty salon has opened in Woy Woy.

The "Lisa Marie Beauty Salon" has opened on the corner of Blackwall and Victoria Rd, Woy Woy.

This is Lisa-Marie Altavilla's first business.

At 23 years of age, Lisa-Marie has moved from Madame Corner, Sydney City, back to her roots on the Peninsula.

"I'm doing it for a challenge.

"I always said once I had five years' experience I would start up my own business.

"It's always been a goal of mine," she said.

The former Umina High student said she felt the Peninsula was a good market to open up in as there was only one other beauty salon in the area.

"People can do their own packages and put together different treatments."

Lisa-Marie is a qualified beauty therapist and make-up artist.

Her salon gives facials, waxes, massages, aromatherapy, manicures, pedicures, tinting and make-up for special occasions.

The salon also provides Hydradermie which is a deep cleansing beauty treatment, Chinese Acupressure which rebalances energy flow, and lymphatic drainage a detoxing treatment for the skin.

"We also have a seniors discount and high school and uni students get a discount too," she said.

The salon will be having 20 per cent off until June as an opening special, but conditions apply.

The salon is located next to KB Thai in Woy Woy at shop 2, 115 Blackwall Rd, Woy Woy.
