Tuesday, April 20 A Phegans Bay couple was lucky to escape from their burning home early yesterday when they awoke to find their lounge room ablaze. The fire started at 5am possibly from a burning candle. It took four fire trucks about an hour to extinguish the blaze.

Business leaders have called on Gosford Council to use hundred of thousands of dollars in parking fines revenue to solve the worsening traffic crisis at Umina and Ettalong.
