No charges laid
Police have decided not to lay charges after an Ettalong woman claimed to have been assaulted by security guards at a local club.
After viewing the security camera footage, police decided not to take any further action saying there were conflicting reports.
The woman claimed to have been knocked unconscious and to have sustained severe bruising when she was ejected from the club.
The club has rejected the claim, saying that while the woman had been asked to leave there had been no assault.
The duty officer from Brisbane Water Local Area Command said the police were unable to comment further due to privacy laws.
The woman said she intended to take civil action.
