Get rid of growth and enjoy the vista

In answer to the letter from Sue McCarthy of Ettalong, the view along the waterfront at Umina Beach is one of the most unique in the world.

There should be nothing at all between the road and the water, let alone some unsightly old trees.

We have plenty of knowledgeable botanists in the area who could consult with the Council about which plants with low growth could be planted to control the sand.

Get rid of all high growth at present there and let the tourists and locals enjoy the beautiful vista.

Around Sydney Harbour, the common people do not have general access to their water views but in Brisbane Waters we do.

I do not live along the waterfront and do not know anyone who does live there.

I am just making a cry for common sense.
