Speakers compete at Darling Harbour

Ettalong Public School sent 14 Year 5 and 6 children to the State finals of the Multi-Cultural Public Speaking Competition.

The finals were held on Monday, November 24 at the Maritime Museum in Darling Harbour and the students were accompanied by teacher Mr Neil Williams.

The contestants had to prepare a two-minute speech on the topic "Join the Club".

"It was a pleasure to accompany these well-behaved, mature pupils on this excursion," Mr Williams said.
