Nursery will have a facelift

The only nursery on the Peninsula has been sold and will to undergo a facelift, including a name change.

Ettalong Beach Gardeners Cottage will become Courtyard Capers.

Janice and Neil Morris, originally from Berkeley Vale, have been travelling around looking for a business to buy for over 12 months.

They have children who attend Ettalong Public School.

Before buying the nursery, Neil used to commute to Sydney each day for 11 years.

Both Janice and Neil have a background working in nurseries, which was necessary to purchase the cottage.

Changes planned include refitting the shed, upgrading the front and side area, and restocking to improve the range.

The nursery will now also sell cut flowers.

The menu in the coffee shop, which seats 40, will stay the same with a "few new tasty treats" added.

It will be open seven days a week from 8am to 5pm.
