Bockholt questions receipt of petition

Gosford Council has received a petition from 106 Umina residents about the development application for townhouses at 18 Nowack Ave.

At the meeting of Council on Tuesday, December 9, Cr Bockholt starred the petition for discussion.

Cr Lynne Bockholt asked the Council officers when the petition had been received, as the development application had been determined by Council three weeks earlier.

She was told that the petition was received after the development application went before Council.

The petitioners outlined a number of objections to the proposed development including a lack of privacy, loss of sunlight and an increase in the volume of traffic in the area.
