Tracey selected by institute

Tracey Elliot, 15 of Bensville is one of two exciting young players from the Central Coast to be selected for the Hunter Institute of Sport's water polo squad for 2004.

Tracey Elliot from Woy Woy water polo team and Nicole Donohue from the Wyong team have both grown up on the Central Coast and have worked their way up through the junior ranks.

They are both in their fifth season of water polo.

Both Nicole and Tracey have played in the Central Coast junior women's representative teams for the last three seasons and are currently training and expanding their playing careers to gain more experience.

Both girls played in a Central Coast team in the Sydney Metropolitan competition last winter.

Tracey plays for Central Newcastle as well as playing in the local competition this summer season.

Tracy is still at school and is in the Catholic Schools Open NSWCCC side.

The girls start the Hunter Institute program next Saturday.

The girls played against each other on Wednesday, December 3, at Wyong Pool in the Woy Woy versus Wyong match.

One boys team and one women's team was selected from those that tried out.

It is the first time water polo has been included in the Institute's program
