Elsie Mills retires

Elsie Mills has sold her Woy Woy business Lady Anne Handcrafts to former employee and local resident of 32 years, Vivienne Tranter.

Elsie has run "Lady Anne Handcrafts" for over 30 years, first starting in at East Gosford Post Office, before coming to the Peninsula 25 years ago.

Elsie had noticed some remarkable changes in her time running the shop.

Where once shops selling wool were common, Elsie claims the shop is the only one left on the Coast selling wool.

The shop also sells supplies for cross-stitch, embroidery, crochet, tatting and tapestry.

Vivienne has finally taken the plunge to become the new owner, but she is not worried as she knows the trade, the customers and has worked on and off for many years for Elsie.

Vivienne will be moving "Lady Anne Handcrafts" to Shop 10 George St, on the corner of Victoria Rd.
