Blood bank opens over holidays

Woy Woy Blood Bank in Ocean Beach Rd, Woy Woy, will be open over the Christmas season.

This year the "Blood Brothers" Summer Blood Challenge runs from December 1 to February 28.

Each year, the NSW and ACT police and motorcyclists join forces to generate additional blood donations during the critical summer months.

The public can also get involved by donating blood at any blood donor centre and nominating who they would like to support: the police or motorcyclists.

Woy Woy Blood Bank will be open every Tuesday in December from 2pm to 7.30pm and every Wednesday 9am to 2.30pm.
