Woy Woy bowlers donate funds for a special hospital bed

Woy Woy Bowling Club presented the proceeds of the "Wrong Bias" to Gosford Hospital for the purchase of a lift care bed.

The amount collected was $627 and the presentation was made by Bowls Club President, Glen Smith to Sister Jane-Maree Hunter, Nursing Unit Manager, Ward 19, Gosford District Hospital.

The lift care bed will cost $4970 and is used to be able to raise and lower patients using electric motors.

The "Wrong Bias Tin" has to date seen a total of $1087 raised in donations.

The other funds of $460 were presented to the Children's Cancer Clinic to help their objectives.
