Umina wants foot crossing
Thirty-seven petitioners have sent a request to council to provide a pedestrian crossing on a section of busy Ocean Beach Rd.
The Umina residents want a crossing installed on Ocean Beach Rd between Donald Ave and Winifred St.
The petitioners say they are concerned for their safety and senior people when trying to cross and that the nearest existing crossings are ' at Way Woy South Public School and Umina Mall.
The matter has been referred to the manager of transport services for determination.
