Masks reintroduced at hospital
A local hospital introduced restrictions last week in response to "the recent rise in Covid-19, RSV and Influenza in our community".
"We have made the decision to implement short-term restrictions to reduce transmission risks," said chief executive Mr Stephen Johnston.
"To keep our patients, staff and visitors safe, we will be implementing the following precautions for all visitors, effective immediately.
"When coming in for surgery, clinics or to visit a patient, we ask that you wear a mask and that there be only two visitors per patient at any time.
"We also ask that only one carer or parent accompanies any patient when being admitted.
"When entering our facility we ask that you do not enter if you are experiencing fever, cough or a runny nose."
