Kim Cole celebrates 20 years at Ettalong Diggers
Ettalong Diggers' community and tourism manager Ms Kim Cole has celebrated 20 years at the Club.
As well as her role at the Diggers, Ms Cole is "a wonderfully helpful member of Rotary Brisbane Water", according to its secretary Ms Di Bartok.
"Kim has her hands full at Diggers, working between her office, the tourism desk and flying the club's flag in the community," said Ms Bartok.
"And yet, Kim is always there for her Rotary club, a dedicated member advising on projects and liaising with Diggers on joint events.
"Yet despite all the pressures, Kim always comes up smiling, ready to help when needed.
"Her wealth of local knowledge means she is an excellent advisor for visitors to the Peninsula who want to know what attractions to see and experience.
"Kim has drawn up a list of volunteers to sit in as tourism guides when she cannot be there.
"Rotary Brisbane Water provides some of those volunteers.
"Kim's life away from the club is just as busy. Married, Kim has two sons, four step-children and two step-grandchildren."
She was an asset to both Ettalong Diggers and Rotary Brisbane Water, said Ms Bartok.
