Charity event attracts 40 bowlers
The June charity bowls event at Ettalong Bowling Club attracted around 40 bowlers on Sunday, June 16.
A total of $800 was raised for Central Coast Kids in Need.
Organiser Mr Ken Dixon said: "Master Chef Alf Cooper cooked us delicious hamburgers with all the trimmings.
"The Wednesday bowlers supplied the food and John Orme and family helped with the preparations.
"The Spider was won by Andrew Cardwell and the winning rink draw by Phil McWhirter, Greg Jones and NormTodd.
"Bob Powell won the patisserie voucher while Anne Dixon won the bourbon."
Representatives from Central Coast Kids in Need attended on the day.
