A big day today for Ettalong recorder group

Members of the Ettalong Public School recorder group have a big day today, Monday, June 24, culminating in a performance at the Sydney Opera House.

The day will start at 9am at Woy Woy Station and will not finish until after 9:30pm when the concert ends.

Students have been asked to wear their recorder t-shirts and black pants, black shoes and black socks, as well as a long sleeve black shirt under the recorder shirt to keep warm, as well as a warm jumper or coat and a water bottle.

A dress rehearsal will start at 12.15pm and finish around 3.15pm.

Students may then be picked up by parents or may stay with teachers Mr Matt Boutland and Ms Alicia Kelly for dinner.

The group will re-assemble at 6.15pm to prepare for its performance and begin entering the Opera House.

After the concert, parents will be able to pick up their children at "the designated meeting point".
