Jacob Falconer qualifies for two national championships

Woy Woy swimmer Jacob Falconer has qualified to compete in two national swimming championships.

Captain of the Woy Woy Swim Club, he participated in the Surf Lifesaving NSW Pool Rescue Championships over June 14-16 at Sydney Olympic Park Aquatic Centre.

He competed in the Under-17 Male 200m Obstacles, 50m Manikin Carry, 50m Freestyle with Fins and 100m Rescue Medley to qualify for the Australian Pool Rescue Championships to be held later this year on the Gold Coast.

Brisbane Water Secondary College has announced that the Woy Woy campus student has also been selected for the All Schools National Swimming Team.

This was the result of "years of dedication, training and sacrifice", said campus principal Ms Rebecca Cooper.
