Office block approved next to prime waterfront houses
It appears that Central Coast Council is now condoning the erection of an office block on Blackwall Rd, Woy Woy, in the midst of the waterfront prime residential houses.
The structure is not in keeping with the surrounding properties as required by legislation.
Additionally, Council is failing to enforce environmental regulations by allowing a site hard coverage of some 99 per cent in the form of an extensive concrete slab for parking.
Furthermore the existing old cottage on the site is still being used as holiday letting, notwithstanding the owner's undertaking to Council that such usage would cease.
Hopefully the incoming Council in September will be more efficient and take an active interest in this concerning situation.
