The joy of fire brigade membership
Part of the joy of being part of the Patonga Fire Brigade is "that feeling of achievement when one of your new recruits cracks his first standpipe".
A new recruit was pictured doing just that in Patonga recently.
Anyone interested in joining the brigade is invited to visit the brigade at the Patonga fire station from 6pm on a Tuesday night.
