Tennis bookings from 6am to 10pm now online
Woy Woy Tennis Club has adopted a digital booking system that provides "an easy and convenient way to book and play tennis from 6am until 10pm seven days a week".
Club president Mr Walter Pearson said Woy Woy Tennis was adjacent to the Austin Butler Oval, behind the Peninsula Plaza.
Woy Woy Tennis was unique because it had hard and synthetic grass courts to choose from.
"It has gone digital and is taking on-line bookings using the Tennis Australia official Book-a-Court system.
"The new 21st century system comes at a perfect time for the summer holiday season when folks are looking for cheap and flexible recreational activities.
"Tennis is so easy to access," Mr Pearson said.
"All you need are shoes, a racket and balls.
"And now, there's a modern, simple on-line system to reserve a court to play," he said.
Courts are available to the public from $20 per hour for up to two hours duration.
Lights will come on automatically for bookings after dark.
"The availability of courts in the cooler hours of the evening is a real benefit during the hot summer times ahead," Mr Pearson said.
He said people could visit the club website at www.woywoytennisclub.com and follow the prompts.
Alternatively they could search "Woy Woy Tennis" where they would be taken to the Book-a-Court system where they could select the day and time that best suits them.
