Woy Woy physie club holds presentations

Woy Woy Recreational Physical Culture Club presented its annual awards at a presentation day at Everglades Country Club on Saturday, December 9.

The club has announced that it has finished the year with five zone champions and 13 zone places, with one national champion, a national fourth and a fifth, six national finalists, 21 national representatives and 11 repechage representatives.

It had four overall national winning teams, six section team wins and 11 out of 12 teams placing.

Award-winners were Nevaeh Rae (Scholarship Award), Club Person of the Year -Emily Low, Rookie of the Year Ella Lauchlan, Parent of the Year Kate Parsons, Lady of the Year Laura Morrison and Dancers' Dancer Bek Smith.

Highest achievers were junior Mia Ramos, intermediate Sophia Murray, senior Brooke Murphy and Ladies Jessica Breadon.

Team girl of the year awards went to junior Nylah Young, senior Jaymie Dryden and Ladies Abby Highlands.

The club has decided to add a second pre-schoolers class for the coming year.

The first term will be free for all new pre-schoolers.
