Jazz quartet to play at Pearl Beach
A jazz quartet will play at Pearl Beach Memorial Hall at 4pm on Sunday, January 21.
The Evans Robson Quartet features saxophonists Sandy Evans and Andrew Robson with bass player Brett Hirst and drummer Hamish Stuart, said organiser Mr Andrew Alter.
"The concert will feature compositions by Evans and Robson that explore a wide range of contemporary jazz, improvised music, and intercultural connections," he said.
"Evans' tenor sound and soprano melodies combine with Robson's sense of groove and uncanny instinct for melodic lyricism to create a beautiful and engaging musical dialogue."
