Rugby club to hold annual general meeting
Woy Woy Rugby Club will hold its annual general meeting at 1pm on Sunday, October 8.
"As a club, we need many people helping behind the scenes to make everything work," said club secretary Mr Phil Burgess.
"The more who help, the smaller the burden on everyone.
"Helping as a volunteer can either be a way of sharing your experience and wisdom or an opportunity to expand your current skill-set and enhance your career aspirations.
"As we want to be successful on the field, we need to be successful off the field."
The meeting will elect president, secretary, assistant secretary, treasurer and assistant treasurer, as well as seniors president, seniors registrar, juniors president, juniors secretary and junior registrar.
"We welcome club members to be involved on our committee," said Mr Burgess.
"While some current holders of these roles will re-apply for their roles there will still be others left vacant.
"The remaining senior club roles will be decided after nominations have been made on the first committee meeting after the annual meeting."
These roles include first grade coach, first grade manager, second grade coach, second grade manager, Ladies coach and Ladies manager.
"For juniors, the junior president confirms coaches and manager for the teams.
