Help wanted to find missing plaque
The Rotary Club of Woy Woy is asking for help to find a historical brass directional plaque that has gone missing from the Mt Ettalong lookout.
The plaque was installed by the club 72 years ago and pointed to local landmarks.
"It's a piece of our history," said club president Mr Trevor Walker.
The club had recently organised to clean it.
"We were saddened to see the recent graffiti on it," said Mr Walker.
"When we organised to clean it, it was gone.
"If you find it, please drop in to Woy Woy Police station, no questions asked.
"They are keeping an eye out for it on our behalf."
