Everglades men play Major Pairs final
The Everglades Men's Major Pairs final was played last Saturday, September 16, on a warm spring afternoon.
The team of Kevin Hughes and Peter Page (19) defeated Garry Anderson and Vince Chand (15).
"The championship has been contested over several weeks," said assistant secretary Mr Grant Ireland.
"Each match consisted of a 2/2/2/2 format over 21 ends."
The next event on the Everglades Men's Bowls Calendar is the Major Triples which will start on Saturday. September 23.
A sponsored Open Gender Triples game will start on Tuesday, October 17.
