Rotary club raises almost $7000 at charity golf day
The Rotary Club of Brisbane Water held its annual Charity Golf Day was held at Everglades on Monday, September 4.
"The day raised $6,855.15 for cancer research and local youth projects," said club president Mr Mitchell Gordon.
"Organiser Mark Simpson treated players to cake and champagne on arrival, as well as a few surprises on the course.
"Lunch, raffles and speeches rounded off a great morning of friendly competition."
More than 20 teams took part.
