Police renew appeal for help to find missing woman

Brisbane Water Police District have renewed their appeal for help to find missing person Ms Susan Chiddy.

"We are issuing a renewed appeal for public assistance to locate a woman missing from the Woy Woy area," they said in a social media post.

Ms Chiddy, 62, was last seen leaving a home on The Boulevard, Woy Woy, about 10am on Friday, August 4.

Unable to be located since, Susan was reported missing to officers attached to Brisbane Water Police District, who commenced inquiries into her whereabouts.

Police and family hold concerns for her welfare.

She is described as being of caucasian appearance, 160cm tall, with a thin build, and grey bob style hair.

She was last seen wearing grey track pants, a beige jumper, white socks and white slides with blue stripes.

Police believe she was seen on Reeve St, Somersby, on Wednesday, August 16.

Susan is known to frequent the Woy Woy, Blackwall, Empire Bay, Killcare, West Gosford and Narara areas.

Anyone with information of her whereabouts is urged to contact Gosford Police Station or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
