Only 7.7mm of rain in two weeks

Only 7.7mm of rain has fallen on the Peninsula in the first two weeks of September, according to figures supplied by Mr Jim Morrison of Umina.

Most of the rain (7.5mm) was recorded over two days, September 8 and 9.

The average rainfall for the month is 68mm.

The cumulative total for the year to date is 553.6mm.

The average at the end of August is 987mm and at the end of September is 1055mm.
