Volunteers wanted for Smiles on Dials

The Central Coast Disabled Surfers Association's second Smiles on Dials event for 2019 will be held at Umina Beach on March 2.

The Association is seeking volunteers to help out on the day.

"Volunteers do not need to know how to surf," said Association president Ms Rae Fiechter.

"They just need to be willing to get wet and have some fun."

Volunteering consists of helping participants to and from the beach, assisting them in and out of the water and helping set up and clean up.

Refreshments and a rash shirt will be provided, but volunteers are encouraged to bring their own wetsuits.

A sausage sizzle will be provided.
