Hospital staff donate money to Townsville colleagues

Staff at a local hospital have donated more than $1000 to their colleagues in Townsville.

Townsville Private Clinic staff and doctors have been impacted by the Queensland floods, according to Brisbane Waters Private Hospital chief executive Ms Kathy Beverley.

"Both the hospital and the clinic fall under the Healthe Care Australia banner so our staff felt compelled to do something," Ms Beverley said.

"We are proud to say Brisbane Waters Private held an onsite fundraiser and raised $1017 to help our Townsville Private Clinic staff and doctors impacted by damage and loss due to the floods."
