Brigade holds recruitment evening
The Killcare Wagstaffe Rural Fire Brigade held a recruitment information evening at the Killcare Fire Station on February 19.
The Brigade is seeking new members after several long-time members have moved on.
"Over recent times, some of our more active members have unfortunately left our beautiful community," said Brigade captain Ms Michelle Biddulph.
"This has reduced the number of available members to respond to emergencies in our area.
"As a result, we really need to bolster our membership," she said.
Ms Biddulph said the meeting was well attended and encouraged other members of the community who may have missed it to contact the brigade.
