Long-serving staff recognised

A Woy Woy aged care facility celebrated the commitment of some of its longest serving staff on February 13.

BlueWave Living issued certificates of appreciation to staff members who had reached milestones in their employment with the organisation.

Among those honoured included staff members who had reached the five, 10, 15 and 20 year milestones.

Chief executive Mr Matt Downie said it was an honour to recognise the dedication of staff members to their careers.

"BlueWave Living enjoys an enviable reputation in the region for the provision of quality care and accommodation, and the primary reason this exists is due to the staff who make up the family of BlueWave Living.

"No matter what role our staff undertake within our organisation, we each have a part to play and it is collectively as a team we really achieve truly wonderful outcomes for our residents," Mr Downie said.
