Mixed results for Ettalong Eagles

The Ettalong Eagles had mixed results during the Zone Triple Finals on February 16.

The club had three teams make it into their respective finals.

The Open Final team of Zac Robertson, John Roberts and Lee Trethowan came up against a formidable Terrigal outfit who they could not overcome due to a large early deficit.

The Presidents Reserve Final saw the team of Garry Eggleton, Carl Wilson and Mick Braham take on Ourimbah, who proved too strong.

In the Seniors, Ettalong's Garry Frost, Al Lewin and Col Passfield overcame a determined side from Avoca to win on the final bowl.

"All in all it was a strong showing from Ettalong Bowling Club," said Bowls Central Coast publicity officer Mr Kevin Dring.
