Privacy breach with garbage service
In every community except the Central Coast you can find the bin collection day by visiting the Council website.
It is great for helping people when you stay at their house.
There is no such freedom of information on the Coast.
No, you have to visit the website of a big commercial organisation then hand over your private contact details to register.
They might then give you the publicly-owned bin collection day.
You then have to put up with whatever spam they send and any spam sent when they broadcast your contact information to related companies.
Presumably the related companies will treasure your privacy and not pass on your contact details to their related companies overseas.
Is it possible to find out which councillors approved the sale of our privacy and call on them to resign?
