Dentist moves to Woy Woy
An Ettalong dentist will move his business to Woy Woy this month.
Woy Woy Dental Centre has opened in Railway St.
Proprietor Dr Tim Ho has been practising dentistry for 10 years, three of which have been in Ettalong.
Dr Ho has purchased the building in Railway Street and established his new surgery upstairs, to enable him to meet greater demand and to be more accessible to public transport.
He will now be open later in the evening and on Saturdays for commuters who would otherwise need to take time off work for dental treatment.
The new surgery has room for three dental chairs and includes some of the latest dental technology. This includes innovations such as digital x-ray, which uses one 10th of the radiation of a normal x-ray, and intra oral cameras which show the patient an internal view of their mouth on a television screen.
The centre also offers implant dentistry and the availability of nitrous oxide gas.
