Surf club competes at Forster

Members of Umina Surf Club competed at Forster surf carnival in juniors, seniors and masters events over the October long weekend.

The Juniors finished number one and the club overall finished number two to The Lakes.

In the Iron Man section, under-11's Gaby Krucler placed first and Olivia Brown second.

In the under-12's, James Murphy placed second and in the under-14's Liam Jackson placed third.

The under-11 Age Champion was Gaby Krucler and the under 14 Age Champion was Robert Moate.

The Open Age Champions were Ashleigh Langford and Kerry-Anne Copperfield.

In the Club Competition, Umina Juniors came first and Umina SLSC came second overall.

In the NSW State Endurance Ironman Championships, Liam Jackson came third in the under-14 group.

Umina also had good results in the Peters Boat Series.

The "B" Crew achieved one first and two second places.

The girls crew achieved two second places in their first carnival.
