Barber moves after 23 years
After 23 years in the one shop, barber Erroll Baker has moved to another location.
His move followed what he described as a result of a hefty rent increase.
As part of the move, he has also taken on the recently-closed internet cafe business and included two computers permanently on line providing e-mail and internet access.
By adding another sideline to his business, coffee and tea, Erroll now trades as a "barbery and cyber cafe".
"I am extremely happy with the move," he said.
"It's like going on holidays."
Between customers, Erroll is attempting to build a website for Ettalong businesses and other specialist businesses not represented in Ettalong, promoting their weekly specials.
The site may be viewed at www.Ettalong.net.
In his spare time, Erroll stood as the local One Nation candidate at the last State election and also gives up his Saturday mornings from 5am till 7am when he can be heard as one of the "Fishing Fellers" on radio 2CCC.
Erroll has a wife and three children and has been a long time resident of the area.
