Students do well in English comp

Students from Woy Woy South Public School achieved well in the recent Australasian English Competition.

These were recognised at the school assembly on Friday, September 12, during Education Week.

High distinctions, representing top one percent results, were awarded to Callum McMurtrie, Aurora Steele and Ashlea Norton.

Certificates of distinction were received by Sharni Williams, Blake Cheetham and Chloe Potvin.

Credit certificates were awarded to Rachel Carle, Brandon Grosse, Luke Kaalim, Rosie McKinnon, Sharmaine Spencer, John Besley, Joshua Keane, Gaby Krucler, Jake Linnenbank, Ben Milner, Daniel Scarret, Madeleine Hunt, Meeghan Stokie, Linda Ban and Juliana Peniazeva.

Certificates of achievement went to Jake Banks, Emily Dodds, Emma Eastwood, Hanna Scilinato and Tamara Sexty.

In the writing competition, distinction certificates were gained by Rachel Carle, Thomas McParlane, Jake Banks and Nick Lovatt.

Credit certificates were presented to Linda Ban, Ben Clews, Duncan Crisp, Ashlea Norton, Chloe Potvin, John Besley, Callum McMurtrie, Aurora Steele, Jade Cheetham, Tom Lovatt, Georgie Miller and Alex Rodionov
