Aged care manager on business board
Woy Woy Community Aged Care general manager Ms Jennifer Eddy was among four community members appointed to the board of Business Central Coast on Saturday, September 13.
The appointment was announced by the Minister for the Central Coast, Mr John Della Bosca, following confirmation by the NSW Cabinet in early September.
Mr Della Bosca said the new members bring with them new ideas to encourage local business.
"It is a board with an excellent range of skills and experience, led by chair Sandy Hollway," he said.
"The board promotes the Central Coast as a region with business and lifestyle advantages."
"It is a forum for local business leadership and it works with the NSW Government on Central Coast issues."
The four new members include Gavin Drummond of Narara, Craig Jones of North Avoca, Margaret Lomas of Glenning Valley and Jennifer Eddy of MacMasters Beach.
"The board includes representatives appointed by the NSW Government, Wyong and Gosford Councils and the Chair of the Federal Government's ACC," Mr Della Bosca said.
"Business Central Coast also provides valuable assistance to investors and the NSW Government about opportunities in the region."
Funding for the business Central Coast is provided by Gosford Council, Wyong Council and the NSW Government.
"I look forward to working with the new board member to foster quality local jobs on the Central Coast."
The full board is Sandy Hollway (chair), Alan Williams (deputy chair), Peter Hale, Tony Sheridan, Greg Best, Kerry Yates, Peter Wilson, Robert Bell, Dee West, Gavin Drummond, Jennifer Eddy, Craig Jones and Margaret Lomas.
