Captains started at child care centre

The recently-elected school captains for 2003 at Ettalong Public and Umina Public schools all attended Woy Woy Peninsular Child Care Centre in John Hoare Close.

The child care centre was the foundation of their education and a footing for their social skills.

I worked at the centre for eight years until I was diagnosed with cardiomyopathy two years ago and unfortunately had to leave the centre and the career I loved.

I remember Cara Cerulli, Lachlan Carr (Umina captains), Sam Workman-Brown and Amy Jones (Ettalong captains) all attended Woy Woy Peninsula Child Care eagerly wanting to learn and assisting their peers at such an early age.

I have watched these children grow into responsible and caring students who always stop to say hello when shopping.

I am very proud and excited for you all and my congratulations go to your proud parents and teachers, at both schools, who have made an excellent choice.
