Why not share the wharf?

I see in Peninsula News (December 17) someone is calling for an upgrade of the Ettalong wharf.

This prompts me to ask: "Will the new ferry terminal for the Ettalong to Sydney ferry be made available to the Ettalong Palm Beach ferry? And if not, why not?".

One modern facility used by two services makes better use of parking and bus feeder services, with proper toilet facities for both services.

I'm sure some suitable financial arrangement can be made between the various parties, even if it requires some guidance from Gosford Council.

Let's open up our thinking when it comes to public facilities like transport.
