Probus opportunities for women

I do not wish this to be a long ongoing saga, but if the written information had been printed instead of out of context "word of mouth" we would not all be upset.

To set the record straight, Umina Probus is a men's only club.

Woy Woy Probus is a men's only club.

In the words of their ex-president: "We do not want and will not accept ladies." (I heard this myself at the meeting of the new club.)

Everglades is a joint club and is full.

Kariong is a joint club and will accept couples and ladies on their own.

It is not their fault that they are now on their own.

Ours (Kariong) is a very friendly club, thank goodness.
