Peninsula memorabilia is sought

The president of Brisbane Water Historical Society Mr Ron Sinclair is seeking memorabilia from Peninsula residents.

Mr Sinclair said: "Anything that people have that may have significance to the area would be much appreciated."

The society's museum which is located in Henry Kendall St, West Gosford, is opened on Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday between 10am and 3pm.

Mr. Sinclair said that the society catered for groups and would arrange a time that is convenient to them.

"We had the Falcon Car Club here last year.

"We supplied the club with facilities and they had tours through the museum," he said.

"It is important for people to recognise the history of Australia and by donating memorabilia to the Museum it would help show case their area and the part it has played in shaping the Central Coast."
