Liam to compete in Hobart surf carnival

Liam Jackson from the Umina Surf Club will represent NSW at the Interstate Carnival to be held at Clifton Beach, Hobart, on the weekend of January 18 and 19.

Liam, 13, will compete in the board and ironman events as well as several team events against the best competitors in Australian junior surf lifesaving.

At the recent interbranch carnival held at Stockton in December, Liam finished with three second places and a first placing in his individual events.

The Central Coast team finished in second place overall.

At the recent Gardner Ironman event, Liam finished second to fellow NSW team member Luke Cole from Cronulla.
