Year 12 student pursues soccer dream in England
Brisbane Water Secondary College Year 12 student William Brett has left for England to chase his dreams of joining a soccer team there.
"William is an incredibly kind and thoughtful individual who has managed to balance his studies with a rigorous training schedule for the Newcastle League," said Woy Woy campus principal Ms Rebecca Cooper.
"He trains daily, drives up twice a week for team training, and still maintains high attendance and engagement at school.
"We're super proud of this determined individual who has remained persistent and humble as he strives to kick his goals."
