Ron Pursehouse Day raises $6000
Umina Beach Men's Bowling Club has raised $6000 through its Ron Pursehouse Prostate Charity Day on Wednesday, June 19
"The objective of the day was to enable Central Coast Health to purchase valuable and modern urological equipment for Gosford and Wyong Hospitals," said club secretary Mr Peter Springett.
"Although not all the money has come in yet, we anticipate that we raised about $6000 for this worthy charity.
"Over 80 people attended and there were lots of prize and auction winners."
