Three days' rain make up most of 33.3mm

A total of 33.3mm of rain had fallen on the Peninsula in the first 11 days of December, according to figures supplied by Mr Jim Morrison of Umina.

The majority of this came in three days.

More than half, 16.8mm, was recorded on December 2.

Falls of 12.5mm and 3.2mm were recorded on December 6 and 11 respectively.

Average rainfall for the month is 85mm.

The year-to-date rainfall stands at a total of 1509.8mm, 20.8 per cent above the average annual rainfall of 1250mm.
