Nominations wanted of deserving gift recipients

A Woy Woy shopping centre is calling for nominations of "deserving local community members" to receive a Christmas gift.

"We have over 300 gifts to give away to deserving local community members," said Deepwater Plaza centre manager Ms Marcelle Proper.

"There's no denying that 2020 has been a tough year for many of our customers.

"This is our way of making Christmas that little bit more special."

Anyone can "nominate someone special who needs extra cheer this year".

Winning nominations will receive a complimentary Christmas gift as part of the shopping centre's community Christmas giveaway.

The person making the nomination can choose a gift for their nominee from an extensive range of items on the shopping centre's website or by scanning a QR code when visiting the centre.

The person nominating will also go in a draw for a $500 gift card.
