Organic store opens in Ettalong

A new bulk organic food store has opened in Ettalong.

Owner Ms Hayley Powell said she decided to open Pure Bulk Foods after her work in the travel industry fell through due to the coronavirus pandemic.

She said she looked around and discovered there was not much availability of organic foods in the area so she took the plunge.

"We aim to provide our community with nourishing natural foods without any single-use plastics," she said.

The shop sells organic food and other products from rolled oats to rose petal bath soak, and including locally-sourced honey.

Hayley said she had moved to Sydney with electrician husband Josh. They own a house in Ettalong which they have been renovating.
